If you have foot pain, a podiatrist can help. Pain, deformity, instability limping, inability to exercise due to foot and ankle pain or injury is not normal. Any of our five board certified providers can help. Together this group brings over 75 years of experience to the evaluation, management, operative and non-operative care for the foot and ankle.

While it does occur in special cases, very few people are actually born with foot and ankle problems. The lack of education, awareness, and proper management (including wearing shoes that don't fit) is what creates problems or can make them worse.

Your feet and ankles are amazing structures and very complex! Together, they contain a quarter of all the bones in your body. Each foot and ankle has 26 bones, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, and many tendons and blood vessels. Despite their complexity, it isn't "normal" for your feet to hurt. But over 75% of Americans still experience some sort of foot and ankle-related discomfort.

Your feet and ankles commonly reflect your body's general health. many systemic diseases manifest here including but not limited to auto-immune, vascular, endocrine, and rheumatologic diseases. your feet and ankles can show early symptoms allowing for timely diagnosis and management.

Podiatry is the medical specialty focused on leg health below the knee. this includes the lower leg, ankle, foot, and toes. even your skin and nails tell a tale.. any of our five board certified providers specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all bones, muscles, and connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, and fascia) in the lower legs.

Your ARC Clinical Team

Our ARC podiatrists are highly specialized physicians with both a DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) and FACFAS (Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons).

To put patient care at the center of our practice, we combine the coordinated-care and evidence-based care medical models. As partners in health with your primary doctor, we collaborate and communicate closely on your diagnosis and treatment. We provide nonsurgical treatment whenever possible, but sometimes surgery becomes necessary. We keep current on medical publications so that when surgery is needed, you get the most current, effective treatment available.
