Family Medicine physicians have been trained in many areas of medicine in order to provide expertise in primary health care.

A Family Medicine physician goes by many titles: Primary Care Physician, Family Doctor, and General Practitioner, to name a few. But no matter what term you prefer, their purpose is the same - to provide care for patients of all ages, with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of most general illnesses and injuries.

ARC Family Medicine doctors, MDs and DOs (Medical Doctors and Doctors of Osteopathy), train in multiple areas of medicine. Their rotations during residency include internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, surgery, orthopedics, ear/nose/throat, dermatology, psychiatry, and neurology. Their training is multi-specialty, but their focus is on treating the whole patient.

At Austin Regional Clinic, our Family Medicine doctors are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment options available. For your convenience, we make access to care easy with multiple locations for appointments.
