My parents were examples of service, which instilled in me the desire to make a career of helping others, and that, combined with my love of science and learning, led me to choose medicine. During medical school I grew to love the variety of patients and medicine in primary care, and my residency in family medicine gave me the opportunity to take care of patients in all stages of life. It is important for me to build trust with my patients and work with them to accomplish their health goals. It is my privilege to listen to my patients, give them the most up-to-date counsel, and work on solutions together.
